Free Youth Bowling Leagues at Duncan Lanes Bowling Centre!

Duncan Lanes Bowling Centre is offering our Youth Bowl Canada program this season FREE to youth on the Island! The regular $300 cost for the 24 week season will be fully waived.

Registration is taking place right now!

  • Bowling is a great indoor sport for kids of all ages and ability levels.
  • Bowlers have tons of fun and meet lots of new friends.
  •  Coaching is provided and kids receive achievement awards as they improve through the season. 
  • There are several optional tournaments through the season at the local, island, provincial and even national level.
  • All bowlers receive an award at the end of the season.

We have several league sessions to choose from. 5 pin or 10 pin at 10:00 a.m. every Saturday morning, 10 pin on Wednesdays after school at 3:30 p.m. and 5 pin on Wednesdays afternoons at 4 p.m. 

The season runs for 24 weeks starting the first week of October. Players compete in the  following age divisions:

Bowlasaurus   5 Pin Saturdays   

1 Game with Bumpers      

Ages  3 – 6


Bantams                                                  

2 Games   Ages  5 – 8


Bantams, Juniors and Seniors              

3 Games   Ages  8 – 21

All experience and ability levels are welcome. Bowling balls, rental shoes and coaching are provided.

The fine print:

Although the cost of bowling is fully covered by Duncan Lanes, the Youth Bowl Canada national registration fee of $40 will be required at the start of the season. There will also be mandatory participation in the Youth Bowl Canada annual chocolate sales fund raiser. Every participating family must sell 1 case of the fundraising chocolates, payable on receipt of the product in October. Space is limited and registrations will be on a first come first served basis. Bowlers can play in 1 of the leagues free. Players wanting to bowl in a second youth league will be charged at regular rate.
